Research addressing Roma issues mentions the health illiteracy of Roma as one of the key reasons for the social exclusion of the members of the Roma community. Although this problem has been pointed out for many years, the health illiteracy of members of the Roma community remains one of the most common problems to this day. From this, we can conclude that previous programs and projects in this area have been unsuccessful, or their success has been limited. In recent years, the European Union has encouraged the Member States to pursue strategies with the aim to increase health literacy and accessibility to health services, in which the active inclusion of the members of the Roma community is crucial for their success.
We want to develop a uniform health literacy program
